Mr. Tardio is a Managing Director at HT Capital Advisors and President of HT Capital Securities, LLC, a member firm of FINRA and SIPC. He has more than 18 years of investment banking experience and is primarily responsible for originating, structuring and executing middle market transactions for companies operating in the consumer products (Food & Beverage), healthcare, and industrial sectors. Mr. Tardio has authored articles on merger and acquisition activity in national publications, and proprietary merger and acquisition newsletters distributed to industry participants.
Prior to joining the predecessor to HT Capital Advisors in 1996, Mr. Tardio was a Manager of Technology Integration Services with Andersen Consulting (subsequently Accenture) in Chicago. At Andersen, Mr. Tardio worked for clients in a wide range of industries including financial services, distribution, manufacturing, consumer and industrial products and healthcare services. Clients ranged from middle market private companies to Fortune 500 companies, and included Sears Roebuck, Caterpillar, Chicago Title Insurance, and Bank One.
Mr. Tardio holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an M.B.A. with a concentration in corporate finance from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He has also completed the Mergers and Acquisitions Executive Education Program at The John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, and the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. Mr. Tardio is a FINRA registered representative and principal, and holds series 7, 79, 24, 63, and 99 securities licenses.
